WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET TO BRAKROCK?
For the easiest trip, we recommend taking the train or bus, or coming with your bike or longboard, as the main entrance is right at the Duffel Train Station. The Duffel train station is your gateway to Brakrock. The address is 40 Stationsstraat. Duffel is smack dab in the middle of Belgium, just a hop from Brussels and super close to Mechelen and Antwerp. Mechelen and Lier are the closest towns. For the easiest trip to the festival, we recommend taking the train or bus, or coming with your bike or longboard, as the main entrance is right at the Duffel Train Station. After arriving by train, bike, or car, continue toward the festival entrance. Follow the signs for the F1 cycle highway or the bike node 56 , heading along the railway tracks towards Mechelen. Just before crossing the railway bridge over the river, turn left onto the path leading down to the dike. From there, follow the dike path towards Duffel and the festival site.
WHERE DO I PARK MY VEHICULE?
We've got a free festival parking near Duffel station just for you. Simply drive to Spoorweglaan 2/bus 1, 2570 Duffel. Turn onto Rechtstraat, and then make a right into the parking lot. This parking is completely free and it's about a 20-minute walk to the festival entrance. Please note, parking in the streets around the festival is not allowed, so make sure to use our free parking. Also, this is not a spot for camper parking, and overnight stays are prohibited.
WHAT PAYMENT SYSTEM IS USED?
We're not going fully cashless just yet because we think a cashless setup at Brakrock might not work as well as we’d like. So, we’re sticking with the token machines that take both cash and card. Plus, there's an info point where you can make payments if you need to.
The local authorities and Brakrock enforce a zero tolerance policy regarding all types of soft and hard drugs. If violations are detected by the police, an immediate out-of-court settlement will be proposed for small personal-use quantities. This means that the imposed fine must be paid immediately before you are allowed to re-enter the festival grounds.If you refuse or are unable to pay, an official report will be filed with the public prosecutor, and you risk prosecution. Possession of larger quantities will, in all cases, lead to legal prosecution and denial of access to the festival or removal from the site. The local authorities also enforce a zero tolerance policy regarding: Violence and aggression, Homophobic, xenophobic, or antisocial behavior. DRUGS DROPBOX An anonymous dropbox is available at the entrance. Visitors can dispose of their drugs here without facing criminal prosecution.
CAN I BRING MY OWN DRINKS ONTO THE PREMISES?
Do not bring your own drinks. Drinking water in reusable plastic bottles is allowed. You get two waters for the price of one.
Lockers are available for rent on-site. Hurry, as they cannot be reserved online anymore.
CAN I BRING MY BAG OR BACKPACK INSIDE?
CamelBaks and non-transparent backpacks are prohibited. Small bags and mini-backpacks are allowed (under 30 cm x 15 cm x 30 cm)
CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE FESTIVAL?
We totally love animals, but please leave them at home for the festival and camping. 'Service dogs' are the only pups allowed.
