MARIA ISKARIOT

Maria Iskariot is the patron saint of questionable behavior. It's semi-adult female punk rock from Flanders. Hopeful hopelessness in noisy verse, chorus, verse. Love for the unloved, figs after Easter, but first and foremost a bow to the sinners. The songs are about growing up, not being able to tell right from wrong, confused by yourself and the conditions of this time. It’s about wanting to be different, but not knowing how – and ultimately realizing that we, too, are well-meaning assholes.

DAY ON STAGE
NO FUN AT ALL
It’s always a pleasure to have No Fun At All on stage at Brakrock 2024. As a punk band, riding the first hype is one thing. It’s another to grind it out, dropping records that hit hard. No Fun At All's still thrashing after decades, proving they're staple punk legends.
